Max Titov
Hey! I'm Max, a robotics engineer working on giving machines instinct for interacting with the world. I've always been curious about the way things move. Whether that be information in software, electricity through a circuit, the smooth trajectory of a robot, or the oscillation of a bike down a technical trail.
In the past two years, I've worked on three tendon-driven humanoid hands. Most recently, at 1X, I contributed to NEO's hands by testing the actuation system and designing experiments for the tactile sensors.
Before that, as an intern at NVIDIA, I built my second hand with a focus on responsive and accurate hardware-based teleoperation. My first hand was a research project at the University of Virginia, where I studied computer engineering.
Beyond robotics, I'm passionate about mountain biking, photography, and cooking. Check out my interactive journal from my bikepacking trip across Europe!
